The public is welcome to attend all Council and Committee meetings.

Ordinary & Special Meetings of Council

Port Pirie Regional Council comprises the Mayor and 10 Councillors, and is the decision-making body on all policy matters. Meetings are normally held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (with the exception December) in the Council Chambers at Council's Administration Centre, 115 Ellen Street, Port Pirie, commencing at 7.30 pm.    

Ordinary Meetings of Council scheduled for 2013 are as follows: 23 January, 27 February, 27 March, 24 April, 22 May, 26 June, 24 July, 26 August, 25 September, 23 October, 27 November and 18 December 2013.

Public Question Time

Council will allocate fifteen (15) minutes in the Council agenda for each monthly Ordinary meeting for the purpose of Public Question Time.  Each member of the community wishing to pose a question of Council, must do so in writing prior to the meeting; they must be present at the relevant meeting; and they will be allowed to speak for no longer three (3) minutes at the meeting.
