Introduction of new Three Bin Waste Collection Service
Council will introduce its new three bin waste collection service and open its new Waste Transfer Station at Three Chain Road, Port Pirie in early 2013. The new bin roll-out will commence from the 25 February, with the new collection service commencing from the 8 April 2013.
Details of the new service, kerbside collection calendar and guide will be provided to all residents with their new bins. A copy of the calendar can be viewed by clicking here.

Council has introduced a waste management service charge to cover the cost of the existing service for the entire year, and for the new services for a part of the year. These costs were previously included in general rates.

Review of Elector Representation - Council is undertaking a review to determine whether a change of arrangements in respect to elector representation will result in the electors of the area being more adequately and fairly represented. Closing 27 May 2013. Click here for further information.
Road Closure - Redhill : Roads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991 - Council proposes to make a Road Process Order to close the portion of public road situated between Augusta Highway and Ellis Street to merge with adjoining allotments.
