Clean Up Australia Day - Sunday 3 March 2013This year Port Pirie Regional Council is targeting the following areas for the annual Clean Up Australia Day to be held on Sunday 3 March 2013 : basketball stadium; Three Chain Road; Solomontown beach; boat ramp; skate park; Memorial Oval. Nature's Chemical Diversity ExhibitionPort Pirie is one of only 5 locations around the State to host the travelling exhibition - Nature's Chemical Diversity, from the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and sponsored by the Inspiring Australian program of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science, Research and Tertiary Education-Questacon. The Exhibition can be viewed at the Port Pirie Regional Library, 3 Wandearah Road, Port Pirie from the 4th to the 27th February 2013. |
