Community Call for Submissions for City Park Projector

7th April 2022

Port Pirie Regional Council is offering community members the opportunity to take part in upcoming selected shows for the City Park Projector, located in Ellen Street, Port Pirie.

There are two upcoming opportunities that people can create submissions for:

  • Mother’s Day– Send in a floral or heartfelt tribute to your Mum, Aunty, Grandmother or Special Carer. A personalised message is optional (for example, “To Julie from your son, George”).
  • Youth Week– Capture who you really are – your everyday, your favourite place/s in Port Pirie Regional Council area.

Images may include artworks, photos, drawings or words. Landscape orientated images are preferred to ensure a good fit for the projector frame.

Submissions can include your details and we will endeavour to display it alongside your image.

Deadlines

The deadline for Mother’s Day submissions is 5pm on Monday 25 April 2022 - extended to 2 May 2022!!

The deadline for Youth Week submissions is 5pm on Monday 2 May 2022 - extended to 10 May 2022!!

Submission Guidelines

  • You must be the copyright owner of the photograph (or have written permission to use it) and you grant permission for your image to be used for the City Park Projector and other promotional content.
  • A cap will be placed on the number of submissions for each theme.
  • Images/artworks must be created or taken in the Port Pirie Region and be in a digital format (JPEG files preferred).
  • Images/artworks must be at least 1MB in size and high resolution.
