2021 Clean Up Australia Day

Published 15th February 2021

Would you like to contribute to a cleaner community? Come and join in the fun with Port Pirie Regional Council by rolling up your sleeves and participating in Clean Up Australia Day.

Clean Up Australia Day is the nation's largest community-based mobilisation event, with an average of 630,000 Australians volunteering to pick up rubbish across 7000 registered locations.

This year’s Clean Up in Port Pirie will be held on Sunday 7 March 2021 from 10am to 12.30pm. The meeting point will be the carpark along the foreshore of Solomontown Beach, Port Pirie.

As appreciation for everyone’s great work, participants will be rewarded with a well-deserved sausage sizzle at Memorial Park. To register for the Port Pirie Clean Up please phone Sonya Cousins on (08) 8633 9751 or email scousins@pirie.sa.gov.au.

A Clean Up Australia Day event will also be held in Crystal Brook on Sunday 14March 2021 from 9am, meeting at Adelaide Square. A free sausage sizzle will be provided (please note that participants will need to supply their own drinks).
