The content featured is provided by partners including Be Connected and the eSafety Commisioner. Why free training? In an increasingly online and digitally connected world, where daily interactions and government, business and social services are increasingly delivered online, digital technologies are now an integral part of life and a necessity for social and economic participation in the twenty first century.
The Australian Digital Inclusion Index (2021) reveals a significant digital divide in South Australia whereby it is the second least digitally included state in Australia. Furthermore, the Eyre and Nth regions of South Australia (that’s us) scored the lowest of all South Australians. Thanks to the Libraries Board of South Australia, Telstra, the Office for the Ageing and Service SA we aim to overcome this problem.
