Have Your Say: Local Government Act Public Consultation - Proposed Community Land Lease
Pursuant to Section 202 of the Local Government Act 1999, the Port Pirie Regional Council is seeking community feedback on a proposal to grant a new lease to Amplitel Pty Ltd over a portion of Community Land situated at Section 1230 Kingston Road, Risdon Park South, comprised in Certificate of Title; Volume 6006, Folio 905.
The land forms part of the Port Pirie Golf Club lease site and is currently subject to a lease with Amplitel Pty Ltd for the operation of a communications tower. The existing lease expires on 31 December 2027.
The proposed new lease would continue the existing use of the land for a further twenty (20) years commencing 1 January 2028. All rental income received by Council in respect of this land portion is passed on in full to the Port Pirie Golf Club.
