New editions of newspapers are added to PressReader on the day of release. The release of some magazines is delayed due to publisher agreements. Carter's Antiques Price Guide
Carter's Publications have been publishing price guides on art antiquities, antiques, collectables, retro, vintage and 20th century design for 28 years.
Carter's online price guide features of 90,000 items. The guide is frequently updated and is indexed. You can search by category/subcategory or keyword, with the facility to further refine your search, making it easy to drill down to the item you're seeking.
All antiques and collectables in the database include a professionally photographed image, and have been sourced from dealers and auctioneers in Australia and New Zealand.
Please note this is a price guide and not an online marketplace for antiques and collectables. The items included will have been photographed from several months to several years prior to publication on this site.

ComLaw is the legal information retrieval system owned by the Australian Attorney-General's Department. ComLaw essentially brings low or no-cost access to the law for the community.
Road to IELTS
Road to IELTS is a self-study IELTS preparation course produced by the British Council to help candidates prepare for the IELTS exam. It provides access to free online self-study materials to support IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic test preparations.
SACommunity is a database of South Australian community services including information about government, non-government, community based and some private sector organisations that provide services for the South Australian community in the areas of health, welfare, housing, education, community participation, information, legal services, arts and recreation. Searches on the site can be limited to Burnside (or any other council area), or across all council areas.

Ancestry Library Edition
The Ancestry Library Edition electronic resource is now available to patrons within the library.This is actually a collection of databases aimed at those doing genealogy. While it is an American product, it includes some Australian (and UK) databases - for example Australian Electoral Rolls 1901 - 1936; Sands Directories for Sydney and NSW 1861 - 1933; Who's Who in Australia 1921 - 1950; Australia Convict Index, 1788 - 1868, and many more. There are more than 4000 databases and 1.5 billion names!
