RV Friendly
Port Pirie Regional Council provides six designated RV parks across the Council area. Free overnight parking is available for self-contained RV travellers, subject to the stay limits and conditions displayed at each location.
These sites are for overnight RV use only. Camping is not permitted unless expressly authorised.
Visitors may use more than one designated RV park while touring or passing through the Council area. A visitor party or RV must not return to the same park within three months of departure. Temporarily leaving a park does not restart the applicable stay period.
Napperby
- Lawrie Park (48 hours) – potable water available
Port Pirie
Warnertown Road (24 Hours) - East of dump point - No camping or overnight stay within oval grounds itself.
Crystal Brook
- Jubilee Park (24 hours) – potable water available
- Bowman Park (48 hours) – potable water available
A dump point is located inside Jubilee Park.
Redhill
- Ellis Street Reserve (48 hours) – potable water available
Koolunga
- White Cliffs Reserve (48 hours)
- Bunyip Park (48 hours) – potable water available
A dump point is located inside Bunyip Park.
Other RV facilities in Port Pirie
Casual daytime RV parking is available on Memorial Drive.
A dump point is located in the fenced recess adjoining Globe Oval and is accessible from Warnertown Road. Potable water is available at the Port Pirie boat ramp.
Visitors must comply with displayed signage and Council’s RV Parks and Overnight Use Policy.
Council-designated RV parks outside CFS-designated Bushfire Safer Places are closed on days of Total Fire Ban in the relevant Fire Ban District.
