RV Friendly
Port Pirie and Crystal Brook are both RV Friendly Towns through the Campervan Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA) RV Friendly program. Free 24 hours and 48 hour overnight parking areas are available in both towns for self contained RV travellers only (no camping permitted).
In Port Pirie, the overnight parking areas are:
- Warnertown Road, east of Globe Oval (24 hours). Lawrie Park, Nelshaby (48 hours).
- Casual/Daytime parking available on Memorial Drive.
Dump point is located inside Globe Oval and potable water is available from the Port Pirie boat ramp.
In Crystal Brook, the overnight parking area is Jubilee Park (24 hours)
Dump point is located inside Jubilee Park.
Bowman Park, near Crystal Brook is also an RV friendly destination.
