Street Lighting

Request for Street Light

Ratepayers are asked to write a letter to the CEO requesting for an upgrade or additional lighting.  Verbal requests will not be accepted.

Upon receipt of the formal request, the Director of Infrastructure will review and forward on to SA Power Networks for investigation.  While SA Power Networks provides the service, Council is required to pay for the upgrade costs and is charge an annual tariff.  Consideration is given to road hierarchy, location and overall cost benefit of upgrading the street lighting.

Street light faults can reported to SA Power Networks on either 13 13 66 or 1800 676 043.
