2021 National Tree Day

Published 5th August 2021

It’s once again time to get outside and get your hands dirty for a good cause!

Port Pirie Regional Council is proud to support Planet Ark’s National Tree Day and will be hosting an event in Port Pirie on Sunday 15 August.

It is not just the environment that will thrive from National Tree Day – the event provides many social, health and wellbeing benefits to those involved.

Our 2021 local National Tree Day event will be held on:

Sunday 15 August 2021

Warnertown Road Entrance, Port Pirie (from Coonamia railway line to intersection at Augusta Highway)

10.00am-12.00pm

There will be some shovels and gloves provided, however, participants are welcome to bring their own. Participants can enjoy a well-earned BBQ lunch following the tree planting.

Registrations are essential, so to register your participation in National Tree Day or find out more information please contact Sonya Cousins at Port Pirie Regional Council on (08) 8633 9751 or email scousins@pirie.sa.gov.au
