Alexander Street Garden Beds

Seven garden beds in Alexander Street will have sections concreted this week to improve pedestrian safety.
Vehicle and pedestrian traffic has worn away mulch in these beds over time. Concreting roadside sections of selected garden beds will prevent potential trip hazards and create a safer space for our community.
Please be aware of the following traffic and parking restrictions during the works:
- Parking restrictions on southern bays on Wednesday 19 February. Parking bays will be reopened as each bay is completed.
- The southern side of Alexander Street will be closed on Friday 21 February for the concrete pour. There may also be partial lane closure on the northern side of Alexander Street.
Works are expected to be completed early Friday afternoon.
