Artist Registrations Now Open for SALA Festival
Port Pirie Regional Council is pleased to once again take part in the statewide South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival, running from 1–31 August 2026, launching locally at Memorial Oval as part of the Winter Festival on Saturday 1 August.
SALA is an open-access visual arts festival celebrating South Australian artists, with exhibitions, workshops, open studios and events presented across the state each August.
The Port Pirie region’s creative community continues to grow, and SALA provides an important platform for artists to showcase work, connect with audiences and contribute to a statewide celebration of visual arts.
Festival Participation
Registrations are now open for artists, groups, businesses and community organisations through the SALA Festival Portal. For more details, visit: www.salafestival.com

Artists new to SALA are encouraged to connect with the SALA team for support, resources and information sessions.
