Barbecue Replacements for Port Pirie Parks
Published 25th January 2023
Some of the existing barbecue units at both Flinders View Park and Memorial Park will be upgraded as part of Port Pirie Regional Council’s annual Barbecue Replacement Program.
The existing brick constructed electric units will be replaced with new free-standing disabled access units for improved community access.
Scheduling of the works will be as follows:
- Flinders View Park: From 28 January to 28 February 2023
- Memorial Park: From 28 February to 30 March 2023.
The barbecue units to be replaced in Memorial Park are those in the shelter adjacent the Northern Festival Centre carpark.
These improvements align with Council’s Community Plan goals to ensure Community facilities and services are welcoming and accessible and that Council provided assets are fit for purpose, proactively maintained and renewal recognises future demand.
