Bowman Street Spoon Drain Works
Port Pirie Regional Council wishes to advise spoon drain works will commence in Bowman Street later this week as part of the Crystal Brook main street improvement project.
The existing spoon drains on the eastern side of Bowman Street will be removed and replaced.
These works will commence this Thursday, 3 December, between Railway Terrace and Brandis Street. Further spoon drain works will commence on Thursday 10 December from Brandis Street to Eyre Road.
The works have been scheduled to be completed over two weekends to reduce impact to the public. However, the community is advised that there may be some minor traffic delays as the construction takes place.
The Bowman Street project has been made possible with funding sourced from Round 2 of the Federal Government’s Drought Communities Programme $285,000), the State Government’s, Places for People Program ($360,500) and Council ($150,000).
Council thanks the Crystal Brook community and businesses for their patience while Council completes these works.
