Celebrating SA Youth Week Across Our Region
Port Pirie Regional Council is delighted to support South Australian Youth Week, alongside many support agencies, to help empower tomorrow's leaders and address key issues identified in the SA Youth Action Plan Consultation.
SA Youth Week runs from 15 – 24 March 2024 and young people from across the region will come together to participate in a range of activities designed to empower them and foster positive change in their communities.
Building on the insights gained from the SA Youth Action Plan Consultation, SA Youth Week across the Port Pirie Regional Council area will feature activities directly addressing key themes identified by young people and youth stakeholders, including mental health support, community connections, access to sports and recreation, life skills education and inclusion in decision-making processes.
SA Youth Week is made possible through the collaboration and support of local businesses, support agencies, organisations and volunteers who share a common commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
