Celebrating SA Youth Week in Our Region
Port Pirie Regional Council is excited to announce that the full program for South Australian Youth Week 2026 is now live, featuring a vibrant lineup of free activities for young people across the region.
SA Youth Week is a state-wide celebration recognising the ideas, creativity and contributions of young people aged 12–25.
The 2026 Port Pirie regional program offers a diverse mix of creative workshops, coding sessions, smartphone digital photography, cooking experiences and social events, help design a basketball court mural and much more providing opportunities for young people to connect, learn new skills and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.
This year’s Council program has been designed to be accessible, engaging and welcoming, with a strong focus on creativity, connection and participation.
All events delivered by Port Pirie Regional Council are free to attend, with some requiring bookings. Bookings for local events can be made via Eventbrite.

The Youth Week program is delivered by Port Pirie Regional Council with support from the South Australian Government through the Department of Human Services.
