Council Launches Community Satisfaction Survey

Published 7th October 2025

Port Pirie Regional Council is launching its 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey, inviting residents from all townships and rural areas across the region to share their views and help shape the future direction of the Council. This initiative is part of Council’s ongoing strategic planning process and is designed to gather meaningful insights that will help shape the future of our community over the next 2 – 5 years.

The survey covers a broad spectrum of Council services, inviting residents to share their views on everything from waste and recycling to road maintenance, parks, footpaths, community events, libraries, customer service, planning, and environmental health. By rating their satisfaction across these areas, the community helps Council identify what is working well and highlight opportunities for growth and improvement.

As the survey opens soon, Mayor Leon Stephens encourages all residents to take part:

“We are committed to listening to our community and making informed decisions that reflect your needs and aspirations. This survey is a key step in ensuring our planning and service delivery are aligned with what matters most to you.”

How to Participate:

The survey will be open from Thursday 9 October and can be accessed in the following ways:

  • Online via Council’s website, social media, and newsletters.
  • Paper copies will be available at Council offices, libraries, and other public locations for residents without internet access.

Participation is open to all residents across township and rural communities. Responses will remain anonymous unless participants choose to provide contact details for follow-up.

The feedback collected will play a vital role in guiding Council’s planning, budgeting and service improvements ensuring that community strengths are built upon and opportunities for enhancement are realised.
