Council Supporting Local Artists with SALA Registration Subsidy
Port Pirie Regional Council is proud to support local artists by offering a SALA Artist Registration Subsidy for the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival 2025.
This initiative recognises the essential role that artists and venues play in shaping our region’s cultural vibrancy and aims to reduce financial barriers to participation in this major statewide arts event.
The SALA Festival is Australia’s largest and most inclusive visual arts festival, which takes place in galleries and non-traditional arts spaces across South Australia annually, throughout August.
The subsidy will assist eligible artists with the cost of registering for SALA Festival 2025 and applications for the Council SALA subsidy close on 18 May 2025.
Who Can Apply for the Subsidy?
The subsidy is available to:
- Artists who are residents of the Port Pirie Regional Council area and are exhibiting within the Council area.
- Artists exhibiting within the Port Pirie Regional Council area who are required to pay a SALA registration fee directly to SALA.
