Council to launch e-Newsletter
Port Pirie Regional Council is launching a new communication tool to provide more regular, timely and engaging information to the community.
A new e-Newsletter will be released in July 2021 and residents are invited to subscribe to receive this newsletter directly to their inbox. It will also be available on the Port Pirie Regional Council website and replaces the former ‘Pirieodical’ print newsletter.
The uptake of Council information on social media has increased significantly over the past 12 months. This trend indicates that the community is seeking bite-sized information that is engaging, timely, frequent and available online.
However, Council recognises that some residents still wish to receive their information in a more traditional format. To meet this need, printed copies of the newsletter will be available free of charge at high traffic locations around the region, including supermarkets and newsagents. Printed copies will be available in Port Pirie, Crystal Brook, Redhill and Koolunga to ensure all residents have access to this information.
The newsletter will include updates on Council works and projects, information about Council services, What’s On, community news and updates and more.
