Creative Art Classes for Kids
Calling all young creatives!
Port Pirie Regional Council is excited to be able to offer Term 1 After School Kids Art Classes in Crystal Brook and Port Pirie for 2023, beginning next week.
Aimed at children aged 5-13 years, local artist Kylie Coomblas will be running the art classes which are playful, colourful and very hands-on.
Kylie's art classes will make learning techniques fun as sessions are designed to help develop creative thought, inspire imagination, encourage self-expression and foster artistic potential. Throughout the term, children will discover the world of art through a variety of themes and activities.
After school art classes at the Crystal Brook Institute will be held on Wednesdays, commencing 8 February - 12 April. On Thursdays, art classes will run at the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery from 9 February - 13 April.
Classes in both locations will run after school from 3.30pm - 4.30pm. Please note that places are limited and are therefore on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
The cost is $60 per child for Term 1 (10 weeks), including tuition and materials.
Please note that bookings are essential and face masks are recommended.
Bookings can be made online via Eventbrite.
Limited spots are available, so book your young creative in today!
