EOI: Foreshore Basketball Court Design

Published 13th January 2026

Port Pirie Regional Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced artist facilitators to lead an exciting youth co-design process for the community basketball court located at Solomontown Beach, Port Pirie.

This project places young people at the centre of decision-making. The successful facilitator will co-deliver a series of inclusive, youth-safe workshops that amplify local youth voices and translate their ideas into a bold, practical design concept for the court.

Working closely with Council staff and local youth cohorts, the facilitator will guide participants through a creative process that reflects the identity, culture, and aspirations of Port Pirie’s young people, resulting in a contractor-ready professional design brief.

This EOI relates to the design and co-design facilitation only. Surface preparation, coatings, line-marking, and installation will be procured separately by Council. The appointed facilitator will collaborate with delivery teams to ensure technical compatibility and smooth implementation.
