Have Your Say on Council's Draft Community Plan 2025-2035
Public consultation on Council's Draft Community Plan 2025-2035 is now open and community members are invited to have their say on the future direction of our region over the next 10 years.
This draft Community Plan has been developed with extensive input from key community groups and local agencies and town Development Associations, Elected Members and Council staff as well as a community survey conducted in 2023 where over 200 residents contributed their views to assist us to improve the facilities and services we provide.
As the name implies, it is crucial that Council’s Community Plan 2025-2035 mirrors the needs and aspirations of our community. We therefore invite local residents to review the draft Community Plan and share their feedback.
The draft Community Plan is now available to view on Council’s website at: www.pirie.sa.gov.au/noticeboard/consultation.
Online submissions can be made using the Online Survey located at the above link.
Written submissions can also be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Port Pirie Regional Council, PO Box 45 (115 Ellen Street), Port Pirie SA 5540, or by email to: council@pirie.sa.gov.au.
Printed copies of the Draft Plan are also available from Council’s administration office located at 115 Ellen Street, Port Pirie and the Port Pirie and Crystal Brook Libraries.
The closing date for submissions is Tuesday 12 November 2024 at 5.00 pm.
