Join us for 2026 National Tree Day!
Join Port Pirie Regional Council and get planting for National Tree Day!
We are proud to take part in this annual event this Sunday, 26 July from 10am to 12pm. We will also host a FREE sausage sizzle afterwards for participants.
Port Pirie is looking better than ever, thanks to the success of the Port Pirie Greening Program, a four-year, $5.7 million partnership with the Government of South Australia. Now, it's your turn to help beautify our environment while connecting with family, friends and the wider community.
This year's site is at the rear of the Port Pirie Waste Transfer Station, on Three Chain Road, Port Pirie (entry via 42-49 Magor Road).
This year is even more special as it marks 30 years of Planet Ark's National Tree Day initiative. The event started in 1996 and has grown into Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event.
