Join Us for Clean Up Australia Day
Port Pirie Regional Council invites the community to get your gloves on and give back to the place we call home and join us for Clean Up Australia Day!
More than one million Australians every year join in clean-up activities in the nation’s largest community-based mobilisation event. Clean Up Australia Day is a great opportunity to reduce waste in our local environment, enjoy social connection with family and friends and show your community pride.
Clean Up Australia Day will be held on Sunday 1 March 2026 and there will be events in both Port Pirie and Crystal Brook.
Port Pirie event:
Port Pirie’s event will start at 10am at Solomontown Beach (near the pump track), moving along to Memorial Park. This will be followed by a free sausage sizzle lunch for participants. Gloves and bags will be provided.
