New Years Eve Returns to the Foreshore
Celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of 2023 at the biggest New Year’s Eve party in town!
Port Pirie Regional Council’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will return to the Port Pirie Foreshore on Saturday 31 December 2022 with festivities kicking off at 7pm.
This family friendly event will feature jumping castles and free face painting as well as lots of other children’s entertainment.
And it wouldn’t be New Year’s Eve without fireworks – there are two amazing displays that will light up the sky at 9.30pm and midnight.
Live music will be performed throughout the night by dynamic singer Andy Seymour, local band The Jukebox Boys and acoustic performer Caitlin Drew.
Port Pirie Regional Council Mayor Leon Stephens welcomed the return of New Year’s Eve celebrations back to our region, “I am pleased to say that after a two-year hiatus, we can once again celebrate and ring in the new year with a fantastic night for the whole family.”
There will be pop-up bars available at the event as well as a wide variety of food and drink stalls to tempt your tastebuds.
Please note this is an ‘Alcohol Go Easy’ event and a ‘No BYO Alcohol’ rule applies.
Bring along your picnic rug and chairs and settle in for a great night of fun, food and festivities as Port Pirie and the region welcomes 2023!
