New Floodway Completed at Butlers Bridge

Port Pirie Regional Council allocated funds in its 2020/21 Capital Works budget to replace an overflow structure located at Butlers Bridge on Old Broughton Road, Wandearah with a new floodway.
After seven weeks, we are pleased to advise that these works have now been completed on time and on budget.
The section of Old Broughton Road between Exchange Road and River Road is now open to traffic once again, in time for harvest season.
We would like to thank the community for their cooperation during these works.
