Port Pirie VIC Resumes Weekend Trading
Port Pirie’s tourism hub is set to return to trading seven days a week.
The Port Pirie Visitor Information Centre will reopen to the public on weekends and public holidays starting from this weekend (30-31 January). Weekend and public holiday opening hours will be 10.00am-2.00pm. The Centre will open every public holiday except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
The Centre was forced to close on weekends during the COVID-19 pandemic. The return to weekend opening hours mean visitors and locals alike will have access to tourist information, local produce, stunning giftware and the wonder of Shakka the Great White Shark.
The Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery will also be open on weekends from 10.00am-2.00pm and this weekend, will feature the beautiful USE exhibition.
