Do you have a burning idea for how Port Pirie’s waterfront locations should be used? Now is your chance to share it and help to shape our community’s future!

Community consultation has opened on the Port Pirie Riverbank Precinct Master Plan. Port Pirie Regional Council is seeking ideas on potential future uses for the Riverbank Precinct, which covers the following zones:

Zone 1 – Solomontown Beach

Zone 2 – Solomontown Boat Ramp and Berth 1

Zone 3 – Silos

Zone 4 – Flinders View Park and Berth 3

Zone 5 – Eastern side of Pirie River

Zone 6 – Caravan Park and Accommodation Camp

Ideas could include, but are not limited to, recreation, sport, tourism, education, event or business opportunities.

Ideas received will be used to create a Master Plan, a long term strategy to create a safe, accessible, fun and welcoming waterfront space for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.
