Road & Footpath Works near Port Pirie RSL

Works to improve safety around and accessibility to the Port Pirie RSL will begin next week.
Port Pirie Regional Council will carry out road and footpath works on The Terrace (in front of the RSL) and Seymour Street (adjacent to the RSL). Works will start on Monday 28 October 2019 and are expected to be completed by Friday 8 November 2019.
These road and footpath improvements will provide adequate parking in Seymour Street for people visiting the RSL and allow pedestrian traffic to be directed safely across The Terrace.
During the works, there will be an impact to local traffic from the roundabout at the intersection of The Terrace, Grey Terrace and Broadway Road through to Seymour Street. The road will be closed from 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday for the duration of the works.
Council will endeavour to complete the works as quickly as possible to minimise further inconvenience. We thank the community in advance for their understanding and cooperation.
