Road Works - Bowman Street Crossings
New road crossings will be installed on the eastern side of Bowman Street, Crystal Brook tomorrow as part of the Bowman Street upgrade.
The works are scheduled to begin at 9am and be completed by 3pm. During this time, the eastern side of Bowman Street will be closed to traffic for both public and contractor safety.
The crossings are located at the shelter by the Bakery and Newsagency and adjacent to the Council office at the intersection of Adelaide Park and Bowman Street.
New kerb was installed earlier this week in preparation for the crossover construction.
Other recent works as part of the Bowman Street upgrade include reinstating pavers to the new rotunda area, excavation of foundations for the new larger rotunda at the intersection of Brandis Street and installing chain links on bollards in front of the hotel at the intersection of Railway Terrace.
Works to the remaining road crossings will be completed next week subject to suitable weather conditions.
