Solomontown Jetty to Close Temporarily for Repairs

Port Pirie Regional Council wishes to advise that the Solomontown Jetty will be closed as of Monday 28th September 2020 until mid to late October 2020.
The temporary closure of the jetty will enable a contractor full access of the site in order to carry out the replacement of a selection of existing piles and other timber and steel structural items that have deteriorated over the years.
The majority of the works that are required will be completed on the northern end of the jetty, starting from the shelter located in the mid-section of the jetty.
