South Australia's History Festival 2024

Published 8th January 2024

Port Pirie Regional Council is offering to reimburse registration fees for community groups interested in participating in South Australia’s History Festival in 2024.

South Australia’s History Festival is an annual state-wide event exploring South Australia’s history. Held from 1-31 May each year, the History Festival explores the state’s places and spaces, stories, collections, and ideas that make us who we are.

One of South Australia’s largest open-access community festivals, the History Festival program features hundreds of events ranging from talks to tours, walks to workshops, and exhibitions to special performances.

South Australia’s History Festival returns with an electrifying theme for 2024: POWER. Exploring the multifaceted essence of power across diverse realms, this year's festival delves deep into the narratives that resonate through time and space.

If you are a local community group or non-profit organisation interested in participating, simply provide Port Pirie Regional Council with a copy of your registration receipt and current Public Liability Insurance and Council will reimburse your registration fee.
