Storm Clean-Up Update - Monday 24 November 2025
Council's crews have spent today continuing clean-up efforts following Saturday's storm. Priorities have included clearing footpaths in front of schools for safe vehicle and pedestrian access, as well as moving trees and debris from roads, blocked driveways and footpaths.
We are focusing all of our available resources to these efforts and would like to thank the District Council of Mount Remarkable crews for joining us today.
Free Green Waste Disposal
Free green waste disposal will be available at our Port Pirie Waste Transfer Station for the remainder of this week, until Sunday 30 November. Please ensure all green waste material is free from any general waste items.
