Port Pirie Regional Council is continuing to make steady progress cleaning up the damage from Saturday's storm event. We also acknowledge the support of emergency service personnel.
Free Green Waste Disposal
To assist residents with their clean-up efforts, Free Green Waste Disposal is now available at our Port Pirie Waste Transfer Station all week, until Sunday 30 November.
⏰ Monday 24 - Friday 28 November 7am - 5pm
⏰ Saturday 29 - Sunday 30 November 10am - 2pm
Please ensure all green waste material is free from any general waste items.
Hard Waste Assistance for Affected Households
Council is working closely with emergency services (including the State Emergency Service) to identify private properties affected by the storm to target hard waste assistance.
Further information will be communicated directly to those residents in due course.
Temporary Closure - Woodward Park
Woodward Park remains temporarily closed to the public as contractors work to remove damaged trees.
Port Pirie Regional Council recognises this is a long-term effort and we thank the community for their patience and resilience during this difficult time.
