Temporary Closure - Disabled Parking Bays at Foreshore

SOLOMONTOWN BEACH TOILETS UPGRADE
Council is starting the refurbishment of the Solomontown Beach toilet block as part of the Port Pirie Riverbank Master Plan (Stage 1) project.
Facilities, including disabled toilets, will be modernised with new fittings and fixtures as well as the addition of baby change facilities in both the male and female toilets.
The existing toilets will be closed from Monday 14 August until Saturday 14 October 2023, however alternative facilities are available nearby at the Solomontown Boat Ramp foreshore area and also at Flinders View Park.
Please be advised that the disabled parking bays adjacent to the Solomontown Beach toilet block will be closed and unavailable for the duration of the works to allow safety and access for contractors.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to opening the new, accessible facilities soon!
