Tenders open for Crystal Brook Shopfront Improvement Project

The Crystal Brook Shopfront Improvement Project is about take shape, with tenders now open for trades to perform the works.

Port Pirie Regional Council introduced the project in November, inviting Crystal Brook businesses to express interest in collaborating with Council to make long-term street level improvements that will enhance both individual properties and the overall streetscape. This project is funded through the Federal Government’s Drought Communities Program.

Council is now seeking builders, painters and signwriters to tender for the improvement works. These building works include repairs, modifications, replacement, painting and signwriting to the parapets, verandahs and shopfront facades of the nominated businesses.

Tenderers may submit a price for all or any of the specified items of works provided they have the correct Building Contractors Licences to perform the Works and have adequate Work Health & Safety systems in place.

A site visit is planned for Monday 8 February 2021 with the closing date for submissions to be 2:00 pm on Tuesday 23 February 2021.
