Port Pirie Regional Council expresses its deep sadness at the passing of respected community member, Uncle Lindsay Thomas.
Uncle Lindsay was a valued and much-loved Nukunu Elder and a significant figure within the Port Pirie community. His presence, cultural knowledge and leadership will be deeply missed. His contribution to community life and the respect he held across generations, leaves a lasting legacy.
Council acknowledges the significance of Uncle Lindsay’s cultural role and extends its deepest respects to the Nukunu community and friends of Uncle Lindsay. We stand with his family and community during this time of mourning.
