Condition Assessments for Local Assets

Published 8th April 2021

Structures and improvements owned by Port Pirie Regional Council will be assessed over the next two weeks to support a program for repairs and renewals.

From Monday 12 April, contractor Tonkin Consulting will inspect and condition assess all of Council's structures and improvements throughout the region.

The inspections will help Council to create an Asset Management Plan for the Structures & Improvement Asset class which includes a renewal program. It will also identify any defects that need immediate repairs.

Tonkin Consulting will engage two university students to assist with the project, giving them valuable in-field experience.

The inspections are expected to take approximately two weeks.
